Students in Illinois Quad Cities Now Required to Get Tdap Shot

Students going into sixth and ninth grades next year are required to get a Tdap shot. The shot helps ward off things like tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough. Students who don't show proof that they've had the Tdap shot will not be allowed to attend school. This is the first year the shots are required.
