President Obama Delivers Weekly Address

President Obama speaks about his recent visit in Afghanistan in his weekly address.  Obama says he let U.S. troops know that because of their bravery and dedication, he was able to sign an historic agreement between the U.S. and Afghanistan that will define a new relationship.  He says now is a time to focus on nation building in the U.S.  Obama doesn't believe things such as more tax cuts for millionaires should be prioritized, while cuts are made to the kinds of investments that built a strong middle class.  He says he wants Congress to take the money no longer being spent on war and use it to pay down debt and rebuild America.  Obama says there are more jobs to create, more students to educate and investments in education and medical research to make.  He adds that the U.S. must secure the care and benefits veterans have earned.
