Hawkeyes' Riley Reiff Drafted In First Round By Detroit

Former Iowa Hawkeyes offensive tackle Riley Reiff will play on Sundays for the Detroit Lions. Reiff was picked in the first round of the NFL draft last night by the Lions with the 23rd overall pick. His selection marks the third straight year a Hawkeye has been drafted in the first round, following Tampa Bay's selection of defensive end Adrian Clayborn in 2011 and Green Bay's drafting of offensive lineman Bryan Bulaga in 2010.
